Taste Of Cardiff

If you've never heard of taste of Cardiff, its an annual vibrant event full of drinking, walking, tasting, and chatting. It is in the beautiful area of Solana beach and involves a massive array of local companies sharing their products and passion behind the brands. A true local gem held in the coastal community of Cardiff. Picture a farmers market stretched across the town with music, great energy, and a breeze from the nearby ocean. Whether you're a kombucha lover, beer enthusiast, foodie, or love to discover new products to try, this is your paradise.

The 2025 Taste of Cardiff was especially lively, drawing over 1500 attendees who strolled through the streets sampling dozens of booths. From the first sip to the final bite, the air buzzed with community, creativity, and local pride. For emerging brands and local founders, it was a golden opportunity to connect with real people, tell their stories, and get direct feedback from an excited crowd.

Participating Tastes included crowd favorites like Best Pizza and Brew, Cicciotti’s, Fish 101, and VG Donut & Bakery, along with healthy innovators like Buddha Foods and Cacao Adventures. Buddha Foods was by far my favorite thing I tried at this event. You could swing by San Diego Pepper Co. for bold flavor, or savor the coastal charm at Pacific Coast Grill and Trattoria Positano. Each stop brought something new, with small bites that packed big personality.

The beverage scene was just as stacked, featuring kombucha from Juneshine and Local Roots, canned cocktails from Seaborn and Spindrift Spiked, local brews from Harland Brewing Co., and even caffeine options like Modern Times Coffee and Starbucks. From Solento Tequila to Topo Chico, there was something for every kind of sipper.

What makes this event truly special is the diverse mix of people, founders, families, students, locals, and tourists, all brought together by good taste and better vibes. It’s the kind of event where you leave full, inspired, and already looking forward to next year.

Think a farmers market spread out with the best vibes and music for kombucha, alcohol, and food. All of this with an ocean view. I love going to farmers markets, so this was a dream for me.

Something beautiful about these events is the variety of people and backgrounds you will find.

The website has more information on the event. Founders can sign up to table for free and to get free brand awareness. Tickets are sold every year for anyone who wants to taste and try new things!
